Last week was the first that people started commenting on how much weight I've lost. For a while there I thought isn't anyone noticing? Can't somebody say something? Well it started with my parents' neighbour, and since then everyone seems to be noticing. I like the compliments, they don't make me uncomfortable but I've also found that I seem to have taken all the praise as license to eat and eat far more than I should.
I have a fill booked for next Tuesday and I've been pushing myself to finish the final week of couch to 5K. There's no way in heck I can run 5K in 30 mins at this point but I can run 5K at my own pace. I just need to start making better food choices, chocolate covered digestives is not the best snack option. I've been pretty good about following the 90 /10 eating rule, but lately it's been more like the 20 good /70 poor rule.
Onwards and upwards!

It's great when people start noticing, isn't it? Also, I have found that "you're looking well" is code for "you've lost weight" but lots of people are, I think, nervous to mention weight.
ReplyDeleteA break every now and again isn't a bad thing - especially when you know/notice that's what is going on and you take steps to "fix" it. You are doing awesome!!! Enjoy the compliments!
