About me

I have been struggling to gain control of my weight for the past decade without much success. Any that I had was short-lived and made me feel that I was on an unconquerable mission, destined to be obese forever. About two years ago I first heard about the lap band procedure. Since then I have done quite a bit of research, visited lots of lapband blog sites, spoken to a few who have had the procedure and finally made the decision. On January 14th, 2010 my life with the lap band began. I am looking forward to finally being at peace with my weight. Join me in my little corner of the world as I begin my journey.
