It's been a crazy week work wise and I've been in a bit of a funk. I also seem be at odds with the scale. After hitting a new low it's bounced around over the last couple of weeks, some days it's down and others up. I know that I'll get through it, but it can be tough. Now that I've finished the Couch to 5K program I've set my sights on running 10K. I'm also seriously thinking about getting a gym membership. I like running and I have a few workout DVDs that I use, but I need to mix things up and start doing some weight training. I hesitate though as I have many memberships that went by the wayside after a month or two.
I didn't get myself a reward when I hit the 50 pound mark so I've decided that when I reach my next big goal of 75 down I'm going to get myself something in a little blue box. A tangible momento to celebrate how far I've come when the scale and I are on the outs.



You deserve something for that milestone. :)

ReplyDeleteAs for the gym membership - you have to remember that you are a different person now. I mean you actually finished C25K - that is AMAZING! And now you want to start the 10k program!? You are rocking it! Another reason to join is the fact that you do need to switch it up and start some strength training - DO IT!!! <3
