I miss my scale

I'm currently on a business trip, living in a hotel for a week and feeling a bit lost without my daily weigh in. Eating out every meal has been challenging and I haven't always made the best choices especially when dining with colleagues. I've had some great meals though -- wine and dessert included but usually just a bite or 2 of dessert.

One thing I have managed to stick to is working out everyday and I've almost completed week 4 of the Couch to 5K program. Just one more session to get in. I hope that I haven't done too much damage weight wise by the time I get home on Sunday but I'm not going to stress too much about it.

I've got lots of blogs to catch up on but won't be able to do so until the weekend. I hope everyone is having a great week!

  1. I'm sure you've done better than you think you have - mostly because you're 'aware'.. you know? You are taking note of what you're eating and drinking. I remember when away in Tasmania for two weeks I also suffered withdrawals from my scale.. but I was pleasantly surprised :) Safe trip home. :)

  2. Although you might think you have done badly, I always think if you are conscious of it it means you have been more careful than you would have before about what you ate. Well done on exercising.

  3. Wow!! Amazing progress with the C25K! I totally get the scale thing, it is a bit addictive, but a good thing to get away now and then. I'm sure you're doing great.
